Global Canopy Programme is seeking researchers for a few days to two months to provide research support to an innovative project on the drivers of tropical deforestation, Forest 500. Researchers will work collaboratively as part of a small team to assess the commodity policies and transparency of companies, financial institutions and jurisdictions. Successful candidates will assist in the identification and analysis of relevant information, while performing a translation role within the team.
Researchers must be fluent in English and one or more of the following languages: Arabic, Bahasa, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, and Vietnamese. Applicants should be able to attend a one day workshop in mid-June (date to be agreed as convenient for researchers) and complete the work between mid-June and September 2017.
