COP28: Finance for nature: Unleashing a $7 trillion opportunity for realignment

On Nature Day, UNEP launched the third edition of the State of Finance for Nature Report which tracks the global financial flows towards Nature-based Solutions and estimates the investment required to limit global heating to below 1.5°C, halt biodiversity loss and address land degradation. The event centred around a series of strategic actions intended to act as catalysts for governments, finance institutions and the private sector to closing the finance for nature gap.
