The media

We work with journalists and the media by providing data and insights to help enable leaders, hold laggards to account and help change the rules of the game on the market impacts on nature. The lack of credible and actionable information has made it difficult to report on the transparency and accountability of supply chains and investments. Our work aims to change this.

We interact with journalists across the globe and have had our work reported in national and international outlets, such as the BBC, The Economist, The Financial Times, The Guardian, The New York Times, and Folha de S. Paulo.

The news story “How The Global Beef Trade is Destroying the Amazon”, from The Bureau of Investigative Journalism (TBIJ), which mentions Trase data, was considered one of the best 2019 environmental journalism pieces by Unearthed and has been shortlisted for the British Journalism Award 2020.

We are also in constant dialogue with specialised press, and have featured in outlets such as Responsible Investor, Mongabay and Dialogo Chino.

We were delighted to speak at events such as the FT Commodities Global Summit, The Telegraph Technology Intelligence Live and the Jornalistas em Diálogo in 2020.
