COP27: Forests as global connectors

The event Forest as global connectors highlighted new and innovative partnerships to reduce global deforestation. Event was a collaboration between Korea University, the National Wildlife Federation and Global Canopy. André Vasconcelos will speak on behalf of Global Canopy.

The event highlighted cooperative efforts to reduce deforestation, including public and private partnerships in Brazil, the collaboration between the EU and China and the Green Detente between the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. The event was streamed on Youtube.
