London Climate Action Week: How data can tackle deforestation – and meet net zero targets

If deforestation were a country, it would be the third highest emitter in the world. Action on deforestation is an essential part of a financial institution’s strategy to reduce carbon emissions and meet the targets set out in the Paris Agreement. Deforestation is complex but it has the most advanced, concrete data in the nature realm.

This event, led by a group of science-backed NGOs with decades of experience on deforestation, outlines the data and guidance currently available. It also introduces Forest IQ, a new tool that brings together market-leading deforestation data – helping investors to achieve their climate targets and identify opportunities for greener investments.
