The Nature for Life Hub 2023

Global Canopy is once again delighted to be taking part in The Nature for Life Hub 2023. Our session formed part of the Nature-Positive Economy: All In. Watch our video below, from our session called “The Data that can change the deforestation landscape for financial institutions”. It looks at the solutions that can drive real change and features Forest 500, Forest IQ and Trase data and Deforestation-Free Finance guidance.

The Nature for Life Hub 2023 is hosted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), UN Environment Programme (UNEP), Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and aims to catalyse global action for safeguarding nature and realizing the ambitious goals of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

Over the course of the three days, the virtual hub takes audiences on various thematic journeys, delving deep into specialist topics, practical solutions and ambitious actions that are paving a path towards a nature-positive future. It features announcements and calls to action from political and corporate leaders, the world’s youth, Indigenous and community leaders, local authorities and cutting-edge thinkers, leaders, and practitioners.
