Tilly Reeves-O’Toole

Tilly is a Researcher in the Tracking team, where she helps hold companies and financial institutions accountable for their actions on deforestation and associated human rights abuses. Since joining Global Canopy in April 2022, Tilly has worked in various roles across the organisation. First, as a Research Assistant on the Forest 500, and later, as a Development Officer where she helped communicate Global Canopy’s impacts to funders. With a background in Sociology and History, Tilly has a particular interest in the intersection of human rights, deforestation, and nature loss.

Tilly holds a BA in Sociology and History, and an MA in Social Research Methods from the University of Liverpool.
