CBD COP16: A step change in deforestation monitoring: the new era of tools and techniques for financial institutions and corporations

To achieve the global goal of halting and reversing deforestation by 2030 we need to transform deforestation action from financial institutions and corporations. This panel explored the new data and tools that work together to enable that action. Focusing on Global Canopy’s Floresta 250 baseline assessment and Frontierra’s satellite verification systems, the panel showed how these tools can provide critical help in  driving real change on deforestation.
