Amelia Staples

Amelia is a Researcher in the Corporate Performance team, working on the Forest 500 project. She previously worked as a Research Assistant in the same team. Prior to joining Global Canopy, Amelia worked with environmental NGOs such as Fauna & Flora and Women’s Earth and Climate Action Network.

With an MSc in Conservation Science and Practice from Imperial College London and a BSc in Human Sciences from UCL, Amelia brings an interdisciplinary approach to social and ecological challenges. Having lived in Singapore, Spain, and New Zealand, and worked on projects based in Uganda and Brazil, she brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to sustainability and social justice.
