Britta is a Research Assistant on the Corporate Performance team, working on the Forest 500 project.

She comes from a background in wildlife and ecological conservation, having completed an integrated Masters degree in Ecology, Conservation and Environment at the University of Sussex. Within this degree course, she chose to direct her studies down the environmental justice route, conducting her Masters thesis on the human rights impacts of agricultural supply chains – specifically targeted towards the rights of environmental, land, and human rights defenders. She has since worked in a variety of roles across the fields of ecological research, environmental justice, and climate research/policy.

In her free time she likes to visit museums and exhibitions, plays in her local football team, and dabbles in different types of arts and crafts.
