Lina Latincic

Lina joined Global Canopy in May 2021 as a Research Associate on the Corporate Performance Programme and works on the Aligned Accountability project. Before joining the team, Lina worked as an Associate at Spotlight on Corruption, delivering research to improve anti-money laundering accountability in the legal sector. Lina holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Westminster, an LLM in Human Rights Law and a PhD in Law from Queen Mary University of London. Lina’s PhD generated impact-focused insights on how agricultural companies acquire land in the Peruvian Amazon and the effects of such acquisitions on forests and rural communities.
