Pablo Urrutia

Pablo is the Product Manager for the Nature-Related Finance programme, where he leads the development of the EU Nature Dependency Dashboard and supports Global Canopy’s organisation-wide AI Adoption initiative. He works across technical, design and research teams to deliver user-centred data tools that help financial institutions and policymakers understand and act on nature-related risks.

With an educational background with in Biology and Online Marketing and Communications, Pablo has over 10 years of experience as a project and product manager, supporting the development of environmental data platforms such as Trase, Mongabay’s reforestation tools, Restor and Climate Watch. His background spans UX-driven product strategy, environmental data visualisation and cross‑disciplinary project coordination. Pablo also coordinates Global Canopy’s AI Pilot Programme, helping create organisation-wide policies on responsible AI usage, develop documentation, identify practical use cases across teams, and support the organisation’s broader adoption of AI-driven tools and initiatives.
