Nurah Niazy

Nurah is a Researcher on the Forest IQ programme, which sits within the wider Corporate Performance team. Nurah is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Forest IQ data – supporting financial institutions to identify risks and opportunities to help them deliver deforestation-free portfolios.

Prior to joining Global Canopy, Nurah worked on impact valuations to assess companies’ social and environmental performances across the value chain. Her previous experience lies at the intersection of research, product development, and client engagement.

Nurah holds a MA (Hons) in Geography and International Relations from the University of Aberdeen.
