James Allen

James Allen is director of Olab, a Brazilian strategy consultancy founded in 2011, that applies research and facilitation to support the development of legislation and voluntary agreements that aim to make food systems more equitable, resilient and nature-positive across Latin America. James is a dual Brazilian-British citizen, who graduated from the LSE and holds an MPhil. in Development Studies from the University of Sussex. He is strategic advisor to the Soft Commodities Forum, executive secretary to Carrefour’s Forests Committee, and Chair of the Global Oil Crops Task Force.
