Diya Mukarji

Diya is the Head of Programme Management Office for Global Canopy.

Before joining Global Canopy in 2025, she was leading the Central Programmes function at the British Asian Trust, focused on driving impact by collaborating with teams in multiple countries on strategy, design and management of programmes. She has significant experience in international development and conservation in South Asia and the voluntary sector in the UK in a combination of governance, programme management and capacity building roles.

Diya completed her BA in Social Anthropology at School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and her MSc in Gender, Policy and Inequalities from London School of Economics (LSE).

In her spare time, Diya enjoys growing, nurturing her chickens, starting a new book and cooking up elaborate meals when she can.
