Laura Valkonen

Laura joined Global Canopy in September 2022 as a Project Coordinator to provide support and project planning for climate and nature summits. She develops project plans for each event and ensures that the project plans are up to date and followed. Her responsibilities also include supporting Communications Leads in developing programming for events. From May 2024 Laura now works as Global Canopy’s Project Officer.

Before joining Global Canopy, she worked in varied business support roles in customer service, logistics and operations. Laura holds a Masters in Science for Sustainable Development from Linköping University. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling and yoga.
